Join Edinburgh Magic Circle
So you want to get involved in the Edinburgh Magic Circle?
While it is not essential that you be a full-time professional performer, membership of EMC is reserved for those with a true interest in the mystery arts.
All prospective members are required to:
demonstrate an interest and understanding of magic and the mystery arts.
demonstrate reasonable experience in the presentation of magic and the mystery arts.
If you don’t feel like you meet this criteria quite yet; the Edinburgh Magic Circle encourage you to get in touch anyway so we can invite you along to a meeting in order to help assess where you currently are, potentially aid you in continuing your studies, and encourage you to go out and get some more real-world experience before guiding you through our membership process.

The circle is interested in applicants of a mature demeanour, character, and integrity who perform professionally or otherwise demonstrate real and legitimate interest and initiative in the mystery arts. The Circle is not interested in people with a history of exposure, difficulties in other organisations, marketing disputes, or unethical or illegal practices of any kind.
